Greedfall II: The Dying World, first announced on May 18th, 2022, is a prequel to 2019's Greedfall that explores the "Old World" seen briefly during the latter's prologue. Players take on the role of a Native of Teer Fradee who, after being uprooted by force and shipped off to Gacane, must regain their freedom and take control of their destiny. Navigating the political schemes of myriad factions, players must find a way to foil a scheme of conquest that could doom both the Old World and Teer Fradee.
