Platinum Games acquires the franchise and publishing rights to an overlooked 2013 action game from the Wii U era from Nintendo.

Platinum Games has secured the full rights to the 2013 action game The Wonderful 101 from Nintendo. Developed by Platinum Games and published by Nintendo, The Wonderful 101 was a well-received Wii U exclusive game, although the sales fell short of expectations.
