As the number of characters and signature weapons continues to grow, many Genshin Impact players believe that it's time to remove the timegating of developmental materials. Over the course of its history, Genshin Impact has quadrupled its cast of characters, and expanded the world of Teyvat beyond the borders of Liyue and Mondstadt. Every new region came with its own set of domains some for Artifacts, others for Weapons and Talents. Whereas the former was always available for players to farm, the latter rotated around three different materials on a daily basis.
