After months of various rumored directors, it was finally revealed that director Destin Daniel Cretton would direct Spider-Man 4 for Sony and Marvel Studios. The move, of course, was surprising as Cretton was set to direct Shang-Chi 2 for Marvel. However, that now appears to be delayed. That doesn't mean the character can't appear before his next solo film, though.
