Griftlands, is a new roguelite deck building game that includes negotation as well as combat, and Switch players are wondering if they can play too.

Today marks the console launch of Griftlands, a unique spin on the roguelite deckbuilding genre. Rather than brute force their way through hordes of monsters and other enemies, players in this game will need to also use their negotiation skills as well. While it has been in early access on PC for quite some time now, console players can join in the fun now as well. Deciding what platform to play on can be a difficult choice at times, as each have their own advantages and disadvantages. The Nintendo Switch is easily the most convenient of all the options, but some games opt to only launch on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Fans of Griftlands will be happy to know that the game is coming to Nintendo Switch, and in fact it is already out on the console. The June 4th console release includes PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, so players don't even have to wait to start playing on the portable console.

Another important thing to consider when getting a game on Switch is how technically demanding it is. Despite its many cool features, there's no denying that the Nintendo Switch lacks power when compared to other consoles in its generation. Thankfully, Griftlands doesn't take a huge toll on the machine, and the Switch ought to be able to run it just fine. This way players can take the game with them when they leave the house and still have the option of putting it up on the big screen.

Griftlands is available on Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop for $15.99 USD, the same price as on any other platform. It is a singleplayer game, so players looking for a multiplayer experience won't be finding it here. That said, it has been praised for its replayability, as players are able to experience a different narrative every time depending on the choices that they make. For the relatively low price, players are sure to get their money's worth out of it.

It's nice that Klei Entertainment opted to have the Switch version of the game launch at the same time as PS4 and Xbox One. Switch players are all too familiar with the elusive promise of a Switch version in the near future, only for developers to stop talking about it after a while. Genshin Impact's Switch version is a prime example of this, as players are still waiting for it almost a year later.

Griftlands is available now on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
