Funko Pops have quickly become one of the most popular collectibles for gamers, and soon fans will be able to add Sly Cooper, Sir Daniel Fortesque, and Master Chief to their collections. The next set of Funkos is available starting next week, and it kicks off with Sly Cooper and Sir Daniel.
Fans will be happy to see that the thieving raccoon from the PlayStation 2 era is being brought to life in all his glory. Beloved due to his cleverness, cockiness, and unique design, Sly’s new Funko does its best to capture the character’s signature look. Though it may not be the same as a Sly Cooper sequel, or even some remakes of the older games, seeing the hero get some new merchandise is a welcome surprise.

While it remains to be seen if Sly will ever get the same treatment as Crash and Spyro when it comes to his games, plenty of love has gone into his Funko. Sly sits perched on top of a fire hydrant-like base, with both his feet put together to recreate his classic pose. His fur and tail have a different look from his shirt, while the Sly symbol is seen clearly on his belt. He wears his signature cap and mask, while his yellow cane is held in his left hand. Going live on June 11, the Sly Funko is exclusive to GameStop and EB Games and can be pre-ordered now for $12.99 USD.
Next up is Sir Daniel Fortesque, protagonist of the MediEvil series. Hot off the heels of the 2019 remake, Sir Dan is captured in all his glory, translating extremely well to Funko form. With his armor perfectly captured along with his unique skull head, the only real difference is his proportions. Following the Funko style, Sir Dan’s head is massive, the reverse of how it is in the game. He does hold his severed arm, however, a nice nod to the games. Another GameStop and EB Games exclusive, he too is available on June 11 and can be pre-ordered for $12.99 USD.
Finally, there is the one and only Master Chief. While there have been plenty of Funko Pops based on the character, the newest is special, as it captures his original appearance from Halo: Combat Evolved. Alongside the unique helmet and an assault rifle prop, this version of Chief comes with a larger box and a special backdrop showing off the cover of the first Halo game. This special game cover packaging will cost $2 more, and Chief will unfortunately be coming much later than Sir Dan and Sly. He launches on October 13 and is another GameStop exclusive.
With gaming related Funko Pops like the ones for Mass Effect and Assassin’s Creed quickly becoming rare and expensive, gamers may want to get these while they can. With each design getting some extra love, any of the Pops would make a fine addition to a gamer’s shelf.
