Netflix has successfully brought the first novel of Cixin Liu's Remembrance of Earth's Past trilogy to the screen in 3 Body Problem. The first eight episodes of the sci-fi series cover the decades-long story depicted in Liu's first novel, The Three-Body Problem, which follows what happens when humanity makes contact with an advanced extraterrestrial civilization.
