Rogue Company features a ton of Rogues to choose from and there are some great ones out there for beginners.

Rogue Company places saving the world at the hands of Earth's best mercenaries. In this 4v4 shooter, players take on the role of multitalented Rogues. Unlike other mercenaries, these Rogues have their own skillset and combat approach that make them the best at what they do. Thankfully, players can pick almost any Rogue and use their talents with their teammates across different game modes, with different weapons.

Unfortunately, the massive combat potential of each Rogue can make them overwhelming at first glance. Moreover, newcomers might have a rough time adjusting to their chosen Rogue's skillset. After all, what if they choose a Rogue with a more technical toolkit than the rest? In turn, newcomers might want to stick with beginner-friendly Rogues first.

10 Vy (Defender)

Vy secures a location not by protecting it, but by discouraging everyone to get near it. Given her Defender Role, Vy uses Vile Poison (Active) to create a poisonous pool that reduces the maximum health of enemies who enter it. Likewise, Leeching Poison (Passive) gives Vy up to 25 Health whenever someone triggers her Active. Beginners who want to manipulate the battlefield to their favor will appreciate Vy.

Moreover, her arsenal further encourages a more offensive approach to her poison pools. Her Nightshade (Assault Rifle) boasts the highest fire rate, while her S12 Tactical (Shotgun) packs a punch at a further range. Even her Perks capitalize on her aggressive potential, as she can detect opponents she shoots (Tracker Rounds), avoid detection (Cloaked), and get a speed boost when hit (Evade).

9 Dima (Breacher)

Dima shows the value of grenades in any FPS. As a Breacher, Dima relies on rather straightforward cluster grenades via the MIRV Launcher (Active). However, anyone he hits with his explosives do get revealed for a short while via Burned (Passive). Regardless, beginners who want to wreak havoc with explosives will love Dima.

In terms of weapons, Dima pairs his destructive appeal in mid-range with the high-powered Mamba (DMR) or the high fire rate of the KA30 (Assault Rifle). Moreover, his Perks also encourage straightforward aggression as he can reload while sprinting (Berserker), switch weapons faster (Nimble Hands), or heal after downing an enemy (Life Drain).

8 Talon (Intel)

Talon likes to know where his enemies are, even when he's on the move. As an Intel, Talon has a Radar Dart (Ability) that detects nearby enemies after latching on a destination. He can quickly retrieve the Dart and other items from afar with his Mag Gloves (Passive). As a result, beginners who want to keep an eye on two places at once will want to try Talon.

His weapons alone give Talon multiple offensive options. He can pepper enemies up close with the fire rate of the LMP-X (SMG), or from afar with the high-powered D3D-i (DMR). Moreover, his Perks ensure enemies wouldn't know who hit them as he can silence his walking (Padded Steps), switch weapons faster (Nimble Hands), and help his team detect anyone he shoots (Tracker Rounds).

7 Gl1tch (Breacher)

Gl1tch is what happens to people who take their gadgets for granted. As a Breacher, Gl1tch penetrates through enemy defenses as Intuition (Passive) detects nearby enemy equipment while Hack (Active) detects nearby enemies and disables their gadgets. Gl1tch suits beginners who want to mess with enemies from afar.

Despite his destructive potential, Gl1tch still works best with defensive or recon gameplay. His SKL-6 (Shotgun) can take out enemies who compromise his position, while the LMP-X (SMG) has enough firepower to eliminate nearby opponents. Likewise, his Perks encourage a stealth component by silencing his walking (Padded Speed), reducing his exposure to revealing Abilities (Cloaked), and track enemies he shoots (Tracker Rounds).

6 Anvil (Defender)

Anvil makes up for his large frame with his defensive potential. Befitting the Defender Role, Anvil's toolkit provides decent damage mitigation abilities that maximizes his team's defense. Thanks to Barricade (Active), Anvil can deploy a barricade to extend cover or secure objectives. Likewise, his Immunity (Passive) makes him immune to blinding and disorientation. Beginners will appreciate Anvil if they want deployable defenses that extends protections to allies.

Moreover, players can alternate between close-range aggression with Arbitrator (Shotgun), or long-range defense with the MLX Maw (LMG). With the right Perks, Anvil can carry more ammo (Shredder Rounds), reload while sprinting (Berserker), or get buffed with 25 Armor (Headstrong).

5 Lancer (Duelist)

Lancer takes advantage of the quiet to surprise her enemies. Her Duelist Role equips Lancer with abilities that allow her to catch opponents off-guard until it's too late. Lancer's gem rests with Quick And Quiet (Active), boosting and silencing her movement for a duration while making her immune to revealing Abilities. Likewise, Elusive (Passive) automatically reloads her equipped weapon while dodging. Lancer fits beginners who want to get into the fight with the element of surprise.

Granted, Quick And Quiet stops as soon as Lancer shoots her weapon. However, her 24S (SMG) can deal with mid-range incursions with high DPS and short reloads. Likewise, the Striker 8x10 (Shotgun) secures close-range battles with its high firing rate. Her Perks alone encourage aggression, as she can suffer no movement penalties for ADS (Stalker) and give locations of enemies she shoots (Tracker Rounds).

4 Chaac (Duelist)

Chaac won't stop until he gets the job done, even if he's near death. As a Duelist, Chaac capitalizes on his Health as a tactical element. With Grit (Passive), a downed Chaac gets a Health boost and the ability to dodge roll. And with Rage (Active), Chaac can overheal himself or even get a self-revive when downed. Beginners will appreciate Chaac for a rather straightforward aggressive build that weaponizes his Health.=

His arsenal alone encourages Chaac to head straight to the action. His SKL-6 (Shotgun) clears his vision of any close-ranged opponents, while he can pepper his enemies with shots via the D40-C (SMG). Even his Perks encourage a fast-and-loose build by reducing the time enemies can detect him (Cloaked), or instantly reloading (Replenish) or healing (Life Drain) when downing an enemy.

3 Saint (Support)

Saint proves that the medic's best place is with their comrades. As a Support, Saint prioritizes reviving downed teammates from anywhere with Revive Drone (Active), which in turn gives boosted heals with Medical Expertise (Passive). Beginners who want a reliable healer won't go wrong with Saint.

However, just because he's a healer doesn't make him a pushover. He gets decent ranged firepower as the MLX Mark 4 (Assault Rifle) pairs the furthest range of its weapon type with decent damage. Moreover, his Mamba (Assault Rifle) combines a high fire rate with burst shots. Even his Perks boost his survivability with a 25 Armor buff (Headstrong), increased health regeneration (Bounce Back), and faster Revives (Helping Hand).

2 Dallas (Intel)

Dallas has a strong focus on his business, and his business is all about hunting. As an Intel, Dallas has a more proactive approach towards stalking his prey. With Target Finder (Active), Dallas can see the closest enemy for a short while, while Recharge (Passive) skips his Ability's cooldown whenever he downs an enemy. As a result, beginners will love Dallas if they prefer a persistent target.

Given his detection specialty, Dallas can obliterate the enemies from the rear with the Devotion (DMR) or chase them down with the high-powered HRM-30KS (Assault Rifle). His Perks also give Dallas incentives for his persistence, as he can instantly reload his weapon upon downing enemies (Replenish) or while sprinting (Berserker), silence his walking (Padded Steps), or get a 25 Armor buff (Headstrong).

1 Sigrid (Breacher)

Sigrid is the literal definition of an unstoppable force. As a Breacher, Sigrid's hardline aggression can continuously pressure enemies and penetrate protected zones. With Athletic (Passive), a crouching Sigrid can't get slowed and even moves faster. Likewise, her Ballistic Shield (Active) gives her a frontal shield that blocks all damage to the front. As a result, Sigrid fits beginners who always want to get into the heat of battle with little consequence - at least, when done correctly.

This Rogue's close-range approach works well with the continuous ticks of the D40-C (SMG) and the mid-range potential of the S12 Tactical (Shotgun). With the right Perks, Sigrid can swap weapons faster to deal with escaping enemies (Nimble Hands), get health when downing enemies (Life Drain), and heal teammates faster (Lifeline).
