Credible Assassin's Creed Valhalla leaker J0nathan shares new information about the upcoming Siege of Paris DLC and its timeline.

Many Assassin's Creed Valhalla players are still getting their feet wet with the Wrath of the Druids DLC that takes Eivor to Ireland, but new information about the upcoming Siege of Paris DLC was just leaked. This information comes by way of J0nathan, a credible Valhalla leaker who ironically happens to be French. While the information can't be taken as 100% fact since it didn't come from an official source, J0nathan has proven himself time and time again with leaks about the game and is a trusted source. Of the information that he discovered, one of the more interesting tidbits is that there will be an eight year time skip.

For those that may not have been aware, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and its first DLC take place in the year 877, just one year before the Norsemen were defeated by Alfred the Great. Eivor's adventures all take place within a year, but the new DLC will move things forward to the year 885.

J0nathan sets the stage with a synopsis found within the game files. It states that the Kingdom of Francia is finally united under one king, the great-grandson of Charlemagne, Charles the Fat. Holed up in Paris, he wages war against the Norse presence in his lands, and Eivor and the other settlers of Ravensthorpe decide to get involved. Just like other new content, this Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC will start when a visitor from afar comes to the Ravensthorpe docks.

One unfortunate detail that J0nathan found is that the Hidden Ones won't be making an appearance in the Siege of Paris DLC. The entire organization was mysteriously absent from England, forcing Eivor to search through their abandoned hideouts in order to learn more about them. Many players were hoping that they would be more present in future DLC, but so far that doesn't seem to be the case. According to the data from J0nathan, the Hidden Ones are absent from Francia  just like they were in England. On the bright side, this does mean that players will be able to find more Hidden Ones Bureaus and find more assassin-themed loot.

It's also worth noting that the PlayStation store lists the DLC as releasing on November 9th, 2021, but this is most likely a placeholder. While the rest of this information is fairly credible, players shouldn't hold their breath about the release date. It's best to wait for official news from Ubisoft before getting excited, as release dates are always subject to change.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
