Chivalry 2 features a variety of unique maps and different game modes, and players can find full details on them in this short guide.

Chivalry 2 gives players the chance to engage in medieval battle, and indeed the results can be quite brutal. These gnarly fights do not all take place in the exact same location, though, as there are a number of unique maps in Chivalry 2. Additionally, there are different objectives associated with these various maps, and this guide will provide full details on all of the battlegrounds that are currently available for fans to enjoy.

To start simply, there are total of eight maps in Chivalry 2 at the time of writing, and there are three game modes that are played upon them. The first of those game modes is called Team Objective, and it centers around one faction attempting to complete designated tasks while the other faction tries to stop them. The other two modes are Team Deathmatch and Free-for-all, and they are all about slaying the opposition in a group or solo.

With respect to the specifics of these eight battlefields, their names, along with some details on the goals that are present in the Team Objective maps, can found below. Notably, fans can choose to access either 40 or 64-player versions of these maps, and indeed Chivalry 2 has cross-play.

  1. The Battle of Dark Forest: The Mason Order plays offense on this Team Objective map, breaking through barricades and gatehouses as they attempt to push a convoy to Fogbern Keep. Upon arrival at the Keep, the Masons must kill the Duke while the Agatha Knights try to defend.
  2. Escape from Falmire: On this map, the Agathian forces must capture a bridge, breach the gate's of a keep, and free a champion.
  3. The Fall of Lionspire: In order to gain passage to Glaencourt, the Masons must get through the city of Lionspire. This is done by pushing battering rams, breaking through gates, and ultimately planting explosives, all while the Agatha Knights stand in opposition.
  4. The Siege of Rudhelm: The Agathian forces take the lead on this map, as they attempt breach the Mason stronghold and kill the Heir inside. To do this, the Knights will need to push siege ramps to the stronghold walls and dispatch quite a number of Masons along the way.
  5. The Slaughter of Coxwell: In one of the most brutal Team Objective maps in this multiplayer game, the Mason Order looks to make an example of the village of Coxwell after it has shown support for Argon II. This manifests in the slaying of peasants and the plundering of gold, and the Agatha Knights must offer their aid.
