There are eight Essential Spells in Hogwarts Legacy, and ranking all of them comes down to understanding their finer aspects in the game. These spells cannot be slotted into the diamond formation that players can use with RB/RT, and they dont have a cooldown either. What makes them essential is that players cannot avoid them and feasibly complete the game or enjoy all that it has to offer.
