Nearly three years after the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, one player discovers a unique detail regarding the beggars players can encounter.

One of the biggest selling points of Red Dead Redemption 2 is its attention to detail. Nearly every aspect of the game is interactable, with players being able to kill and skin animals, bathe, feed, and clothe their player character on a consistent basis, and talk to nearly every NPC in the game. However, it seems Red Dead Redemption 2 is much more detailed than players may have initially realized.

Despite being out for almost three years, many players are to this day, finding hidden details scattered throughout Red Dead 2. In fact, there are plenty of secrets and Easter Eggs in Red Dead Redemption 2 that a lot of players likely missed out on the first or perhaps even third time playing through the game. Though, this newest discovery is one that very few players would have thought to do.

Over on TikTok, a Red Dead 2 fan account posted a video that shows Arthur Morgan pointing a gun at a blind beggar on the street, only to discover that the beggar is a fake. Revelations like this one are hard to come by seeing as pointing a gun at a homeless person begging on the street in-game is not something that most players would think to do. The video can be seen here.

It's details like this that set Red Dead 2 apart from a lot of other games. Considering the inherent interactivity of Red Dead 2's open world, it allows players to perform actions in-game and have the game respond to the player's actions in unexpected ways. In fact, a lot of these hidden details are only now being discovered years after the game's release. Take, for example, one player who discovered a Red Dead 2 NPC reaction three years after the game launched.

In any case, it will be interesting to see if players manage to find any more hidden Red Dead 2 details in the years to come. Given that the bulk of Red Dead Redemption content now comes in the form of Red Dead Online, it's likely that fans of the game will exhaust everything there is to discover within the main narrative. Although, even games that are several decades old can contain undiscovered secrets.

For example, one player noticed a creepy detail about James Sutherland in Silent Hill 2 and that came to light nearly twenty years after the initial release of the game. Given that Silent Hill 2 is a much more linear and less expansive game than Red Dead 2, the fact that the game still contained a secret like that for so long is quite impressive. Thus, it's fairly likely that players will continue to discover new things about Red Dead 2 in the years to come.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
