While the trilogy itself ended over 20 years ago, it's an undeniable fact that Lord of the Rings is one of the single greatest pieces of fantasy fiction out there. Pioneering the entire fantasy genre and inspiring thousands of stories, it's hard to find someone who doesn't know or love the Lord of the Rings.
