Call of Duty: Warzone is approaching the end of Season 3, and gamers may be wondering what is next for the popular battle royale game. As it turns out, they are about to get their answer, with Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 being revealed in just a few days.
The trailer for Call of Duty: Warzone’s fourth Season is confirmed to come at Summer Game Fest on June 10. The event goes live at 11am PT, and it is expected to include major reveals like Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and possibly even Elden Ring. As for what Call of Duty: Warzone fans can expect from the trailer that is being debuted at the Geoff Keighley-hosted event, there are some interesting possibilities on the table.

One of the likelier options is that the footage will focus heavily on the ongoing Call of Duty: Warzone narrative. Just yesterday, the Season’s final cutscene appeared, with Stitch mentioning a “man in Africa” that many are hoping could be the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 villain Raul Menendez. A possible Operator, playing as a young version of the beloved antagonist could be a nice surprise. The Numbers from Call of Duty: Black Ops were also teased, hinting at the use of sleeper agents. Beyond just story developments, though, the trailer could touch on some key additions to the Verdansk 84 map.
One part of Verdansk 84 that remains suspiciously empty is the Old Mine. Despite being added just a few hundred feet below the Summit point of interest, the area serves no real purpose, with the actual mines being closed off by debris. Season 4 could see these opened, adding a bunker-like system or a fast travel travel network that goes from one end of Verdansk to the other. With the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War-themed Red Doors also leaked as a possible fast travel method, fast travel could be a major focus of Season 4.
Finally, a new event is a possibility. While Season 5 will surely feature Haunting of Verdansk, Season 4’s potential event is a mystery. In Season 3, gamers were able to experience Hunt for Adler and 80s Action Heroes. While the former was a bit of a letdown due to bugged contracts, the latter proved to be a massive hit with fans. With locations like the Nakatomi Plaza vault and CIA Outpost being popular landing points for fans, it will be interesting to see if the next event adjusts any locations.
While Call of Duty: Warzone fans have a lot to look forward to in Season 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players can be equally excited. Alongside multiplayer maps, weapons, and another Outbreak Quest, a fresh Zombies Survival map is coming to the game – serving as the first new map since February.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
