The War Horse in Red Dead Redemption is one of the four 3-Star breeds that you can get in the game. It was introduced as part of a paid DLC and via certain pre-order criteria in 2011, and then as part of the Game of the Year Edition. Now that the special edition is what you get via Red Dead Redemptions release on PC, theres no need for a separate purchase or a special code.
