Godzilla Minus One is one of the best Godzilla movies ever made. It was a commercial and critical success, not to mention that it even won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects. Toho is well aware of this films reputation, seeing as they just announced that its director, Takashi Yamazaki, will return to direct the next Godzilla movie.
