Fans who own the regular release version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake will get a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version while people who own the PlayStation Plus version will need to purchase the PlayStation 5 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade.

Gamers who are purchasing the retail version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will have the Intermission Yuffie DLC bundled with their purchase. Gamers that are upgrading their PlayStation 4 version, however, will need to purchase the Intermission Yuffie DLC separately from the PlayStation Store. To be clear, players who only own the PS Plus version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake will not get a free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version.

The schedule of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade’s release is midnight local time for gamers so 12 am, June 10, 2021. There is an interesting bit of information that mentions the PlayStation Store updates simultaneously for global releases of most games. This could mean that the game becomes available for everyone at 12 am EST, allowing players on the west coast of the United States to access the game as early as 9 pm PST.

Fans who are excited to venture back into the world of Final Fantasy 7 Remake only have a few hours left before Cloud, Tifa, Barrett, Aerith, and now Yuffie make their appearance on the PlayStation 5. Owners of a disc-based PlayStation 4 version will still need to use their PlayStation 4 disc to access the updated PlayStation 5 version.
