The undying Resident Evil series has been enjoying something of a renaissance these past few years, due in large part to successful remakes of classic entries, with 2009's Resident Evil 5 possibly being next in line. Capcom has been keeping news about upcoming Resident Evil games under wraps since the launch of 2023's Resident Evil 4 remake, so there's no official confirmation that a remake of Resident Evil 5 is on the way, but it certainly seems like a likely prospect.
