In anticipation of Fast & Furious 9, Rocket League confirms the addition of three new cars inspired by the action movie franchise.

With Fast & Furious 9 set to hit theaters on June 25, fans of the franchise and Rocket League are in for a special treat. An announcement at Summer Games Fest revealed that three new cars are coming to Rocket League inspired by the Fast & Furious movies.

The cars in question are going to be a classic Dodge Charger, a Nissan Skyline, and an F9 Pontiac Fiero, all cars that have either featured or will feature in the Fast & Furious movies. The bundle will hit Rocket League about a week before the movie drops, on June 17.

In a brief reveal trailer, the three cars are seen dropping from a cargo plane while chasing a Rocket League ball. The Dodge Charger appears to be modeled after the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T that is driven by Vin Diesel's character, Dominic Toretto, and appears in recent promos for Fast & Furious 9. The Nissan Skyline, of course, is driven by the late Paul Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, in 2 Fast 2 Furious.

The oddest-looking car in the bunch is the F9 Pontiac Fiero. While Fast & Furious 9 has already hit major heights by briefly taking over the Burj Khalifa, the F9 Pontiac Fiero will take the series to new places when it is launched into space in the upcoming film. Of course, this makes it the perfect car for Rocket League, since it features a literal rocket on the roof.

Rocket League is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
