During the Summer Game Fest stream, developer Andrew Shouldice gives a teaser for the upcoming adventure game Tunic and reveals a new demo.

Those looking forward to the isometric adventure game Tunic will be able to try it soon. A new trailer during the Summer Game Fest 2021 shows off some more gameplay and details about the indie title. Starting next week, players will be able to get their hands on a Tunic demo coming to Xbox.

Originally revealed in 2017, Tunic is developed by Andrew Shouldice and published by Finji. The title incorporates concepts from the classic Legend of Zelda series and combines them with a new perspective and art style. Players take control of a small fox and explore the world of Tunic while facing off against dangerous creatures.

On the stream, Shouldice speaks more about the demo, which is available June 15 - 21 exclusively for Xbox platforms. After washing ashore, players will begin the adventure and look for items like a stick, or later a sword, to defend themselves. Unlike previous Tunic demos, this experience has never-before-seen content such as a dungeon and new areas to explore.

Shouldice explains how the game offers little context from the beginning, which should be exciting for those who like a good mystery. While the game is still in development, it is shaping up to be a unique game for Xbox and PC. Interested Xbox fans will want to boot up their consoles to try Tunic for themselves next week.

Tunic is in development for PC and Xbox One.
