The second season of Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles started streaming in October 2024, and most fans who have been following this anime since the first season dropped are excited to continue Rios journey with him. The anime starts by showing a young boy making a promise to a young girl that he would come back for her. This young boy is later revealed as Haruto Amakawa, and he gets involved in a ghastly bus accident that kills him and everyone on board. Haruto wakes up in the body of a young boy, Rio. As the anime progresses, Rio discovers he has magical powers, and a good deed takes him to the royal palace, where he enrolls in the royal magical academy.
