One of 2022's Best Games Is Upset At Its Game Awards Snub

As so many games come out each year, snubs from Game Awards categories are an unfortunate inevitability; such is the case for one 2022 game.

The developers behind Cult of the Lamb, one of 2022's most highly regarded games, have expressed their disappointment with being snubbed from the Best Community Support category at this year's Game Awards. Cult of the Lamb was initially released in the summer of 2022 and went on to earn a nomination for Best Independant Game at that year's Game Awards, but ultimately lost out to BlueTwelve and Annapurna Interactive's popular cat game Stray.
