Act 2 of Genshin Impact's Midsummer Island Adventure gives players multiple new puzzles and mysteries to solve across the new Golden Apple Archipelago islands. As Genshin Impact players explore the new islands, they may encounter several murals that are sketched into various rock walls depicting a story.

There are a total of 5 murals for players to find that are tied to several side quests which players will automatically unlock as they interact with the murals. Players should note that before they are able to find the murals, they must first complete the introductory quest to Act 2 titled "Summer Vacation: Proceed With Caution."

The first mural can be found by traveling to the waypoint located at Broken Isle. From the waypoint, jump off the south side of the island and glide down to the beach.

At the beach, players will notice a cement wall with a drawing of Dodo King. To break the wall, equip the "Wind-Blessed Harpastum" and activate it in the small square in front of the wall.

After breaking the wall, players will find the mural inside the cave that was hidden behind the wall. It is important to note that in order to complete the side quest tied to the murals, players must interact with the mural and then take a picture of it using the camera function.

The second mural is found by traveling to the Twinning Isle waypoint. From this waypoint, glide down to the large island to the south. In the center of the island, players will find the mural next to an exquisite chest and a large group of hilichurls.

The third mural is arguably the most complicated to obtain. To unlock the mural, return to the Twinning Isle waypoint. From the waypoint, jump off the south side of the cliff. While gliding, players will notice a small opening on the side of the mountain that they are able to glide into.

After gliding through the opening, players will reach a breakable rock wall, that when broken, leads to a secret room. Inside the room, players will find a conch shell and a document on a desk that will activate the sidequest "A Trip Through Fog And Wind."

Begin tracking the quest and set the in-game time to anything between 10:00-14:00. When players reach the waypoint indicated by the quest, they will notice various rifts in the water. Follow the rifts in order to reach the secret island containing 3 precious chests and the third mural.

The fourth mural can be found by traveling to the island West of the Twinning Isle waypoint.  As there is no waypoint on this island, players will have to either glide to the island from Twinning Isle or use their waverider in order to reach it.

The fifth and final mural is found on Minacious Isle. From the waypoint, head to the east of the island and interact with the mural.

Once players have unlocked the final mural, they must now head to the Knights of Favonious HQ in Mondstadt. To complete the quest, players must head to the library inside of the headquarters and speak with Sayid. After a brief conversation, the side quest will end and players will receive 40 primogems and 3 heroes wit.
