Fortnite's newest mode, Ballistic, has surpassed the number of concurrent players in its battle royale mode just a few hours after launch. With the most recent update to Fortnite, Epic Games added a number of fresh features for players to enjoy. The game now includes text chat and the ability to choose one's default character before a match. Epic Games also rebranded LEGO Fortnite into LEGO Fortnite Odyssey as it added more linear progression to the game mode.
