Target's newest buy 2 get 1 free video game sale will include pre-orders for recently announced games from E3 releasing later this year.

Target is one of the largest retail outlets in the world and offers a wide variety of different products for consumers to choose from. This includes video games, in addition to video game consoles, making Target an excellent place for gaming enthusiasts to spend their money. Though, a new video game sale going on at Target right now includes pre-orders of upcoming games that were announced during E3.

As E3 2021 comes to a close, the event has left a strong impact on many in the gaming community. With a cacophony of different games finally available to pre-order, a number of players are looking to jump at the opportunity to secure a copy of any given game in advance. Although, the current sale going on at Target right now will be sure to make that process much easier.

Target is currently hosting a buy 2 get 1 free deal on some of the biggest titles on the market right now. This includes popular titles like Hades, Hitman 3, and Resident Evil Village. However, this deal also applies to pre-orders of upcoming games releasing later this year, many of which were recently announced or shown off at E3 2021.

This includes games like Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, The Great Ace Attorney Chroniclesand Rainbow Six: Extraction to name just a few examples. The deal will allow players to pre-order three games for the price of two or simply receive a retail-priced AAA game for free after buying two other games.

In addition to Target, Amazon is also doing a buy 2 get 1 free deal on its online store, except the sale doesn't apply to pre-orders. Even so, there's still a lot of fantastic games available during this sale, such as Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Nier Replicantand Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2. No matter where players go shopping, both deals certainly offer a lot of promise to prospective consumers either way.

This deal is also great for players on next-gen systems like the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S. Considering that most next-gen games are a full ten dollars more than the typical retail price of the majority of AAA games, deals like this definitely come in handy. That being said, the fact that Target and many other retail outlets are struggling to keep both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X/S in stock, the player base of next-gen consoles is still considerably smaller than that of the previous console generation.
