Dragon Ball Daima is no stranger to introducing new lore and details about already existing characters that we didn't know about. After all, most of them are related to the Tamagami's purpose, the Demon Realm's natives, and the revelation that most alien species we are familiar with used to be natives to the Demon Realm in one of three Demon Worlds. The revelation that Shin, the Supreme Kai of Universe 7, is related to two of the antagonists, despite the fact that Shin is a Kai, is a surprise for this reason.
