Pokemon GO's Solstice Event 2021 features some exclusive Field Research, and this guide details all of the tasks and rewards.

Pokemon GO's Solstice Event 2021 is officially underway, and it focuses on summer-themed Pokemon in the Northern Hemisphere and winter-themed Pokemon in the Southern Hemisphere. This focus manifests as some event-exclusive spawn increases, raid battles, and even a new batch of Field Research, which fans can work on right now. For those players that would like to see a complete list of the PoGO Solstice Event 2021 Field Research tasks and rewards before they get started, one can be found in what follows.

To note, the rewards that are granted for completing some of the Solstice Event 2021 Field Research tasks vary based on a fan's location. More specifically, there are a couple of instances where one of these tasks rewards a Pokemon encounter, and that encounter differs across the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. These differences are indicated in the details that are provided below, and a Pokemon GO player should make sure that they are looking at the rewards that are applicable to their area.

In general, the Solstice Event 2021 Field Research tasks are quite easy to complete, especially considering that both Lunatone and Solrock have increased spawn rates for the duration of the event. Indeed, PoGO players should not have much trouble at all tackling these tasks, and some of the rewards that are on offer are relatively exciting. In particular, the Regirock, Regice, Registeel, and Regigigas Candy are sure to be of interest to many fans, though it may take players a while to obtain the tasks that grant those rewards.

Fortunately, those three tasks will be available until July 1, which means that fans have quite a lot of time to stockpile Candy. The other Solstice Event 2021 Field Research tasks are much more temporary, though, and will go away on Sunday, June 20. That is just three days from now, and indeed players should get busy catching Lunatones and Solrocks and earning Candies with their Buddies in Pokemon GO.
