There are a few different methods of obtaining more Tiles in Dorfromantik, such as completing quests. Here's all you need to know about it!

While slaying dragons and blasting aliens are immensely fun, sometimes it's nice to kick back and relax with an easy-going puzzle game. The best titles in this gentle need to stimulate one's mind with challenges, however, they don't need to be stressful or time-sensitive.

Gamers seeking a calming experience loaded with satisfying mechanics, pleasant visuals, and charming music should be sure to check out Dorfromantik, where one can build entire countrysides one hexagonal Tile at a time. To get the most out of one's god-like landscaping ventures, players will need to place Tiles, and also acquire more of them, as if they run out of hexagonal plates to place on the map, it is game over.

There are a few different methods of obtaining more Tiles, most pertaining to completing the subtle quest found while playing, though, there is at least one other method to get more Tiles, and that is by placing similar ones in a specific arrangement.

There are 4 different variations of quests that are found in the game: 2 of them are standard quests that are more lenient with their completion requirements and 2 are more challenging ones meant to test the player's planning power.

The first type of Standard Quest is the Standard Plus Quests, which can be identified by a symbol within a square bubble displaying a number and a plus sign. For these, players need to connect the displayed number of the specified kind of Tile or more in any fashion.

The other type of Standard Quests is the Standard Exact Quests, and these differ in appearance to Standard Plus Quests by only missing the plus sign in the square bubble, but otherwise look the same. These can be completed by connecting the precise number of similar Tiles mentioned and no more than that number.

In addition to the above variants, there are more challenging Quests that spawn while playing Dorfromantik. Hard Plus Quests have the numbered and plus sign icon in a triangular bubble instead of a square one. These are the same as Standard Plus quests, though the player has to connect even more of the same kinds of Tiles.

The final type of Quest is the Hard Exact Quests, which, as one can probably guess, are much like the Standard Exact Quests, though with a higher completion criterion.

The mechanic known as Perfect Tile Arrangement refers to the act of surrounding a Tile with all 6 sides of the same type with 6 Tiles of the same kind. For example, players who have placed a Tile that has all 6 sides being forests can surround that Tile with 6 others that have a forest that can connect with it on any side, with the end result looking a bit like an asterisk of trees. Every time the player completes a Perfect Tile Arrangement, they are rewarded with 1 new Tile for their stack.
