Bosch: Legacy will come to an abrupt end after its third season airs in March 2025. Amazon canceled it back in September 2024, and claimed it was all part of the plan to pave the way for the Ballard spin-off to take over the reins of the Bosch-verse. Amazon were clearly planning for this outcome long before they informed the Bosch: Legacy creative team of the impending cancelation. Amazon released two images of Bosch and Ballard from the finale of season 3, nearly a year ahead of its release.
