Ever since the start of Dragon Ball Daima, fans have been introduced to the central plot of the new series, which is to go around the Demon Realm in order to collect the Dragon Balls to wish everything back to normal. Although it was fairly clear that the Tamagami likely weren't going to be the central antagonists, they did serve as an obstacle for the heroes on the journey to gather the magical orbs of this realm.
