Diana is one of just 11 deer villagers available to join players' islands in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and she is a snooty, fashion-minded doe.

The Animal Crossing series now has so many villagers, it can be hard to keep all of them straight. There are all thirty of the cat villagers, like Animal Crossing's Lolly, the 19 mice villagers, and even 11 deer villagers. This includes one of the most colorful deer, a snooty doe named Diana.

Diana is a Snooty Villager, which means she is all about gossip, make-up, and fashion. One of Diana's favorite topics, however, is herself and her appearance. As a snooty villager, she will not get along with lazy or jock villagers but will be friendly towards other fashion-forward animals, like Animal Crossing's only unicorn Julian. Diana may come off as rude or selfish at first but is really sweet once she warms up to the player and her new island home. Her catchphrase is even "No doy" in English, a phrase meaning "no duh" or "isn't is obvious?"

Diana is a deer villager with white fur, blushing pink cheeks, and pointed ears, a swirl of pink-purple hair on her forehead, and long sweeping black eyelashes. This doe is all about looking fabulous. Her home in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is all about cream-colored luxury; she has tiles floors and walls with matching wicker furniture in white. Her bed is a royal purple giant oyster shell with a black pearl pillow.

Deer villagers didn't exist in Animal Crossing games until New Leaf, where 11 deer came to join the animal-themed party. Diana was among those first 11, making her snooty first appearance in that game. She has also appeared in Pocket CampHappy Home Academy, and New Horizons. While she hasn't been in Animal Crossing titles for as long as some, like Tom Nook, this fashion-conscious doe has made quite the splash in the series, leaving a colorful wake of gossip and glowing pink blush.

Diana was born on January 4th, making her a Capricorn. As a sophisticated lady, Diana is all about elegance and glamor. Diana appears to be named after the Roman goddess Diana of the Hunt, whose symbol is the deer. One of the most famous myths of Diana is about her being caught bathing and turning the voyeur into a stag, and Diana in Animal Crossing always has an interior styled to look like a bathhouse.

Even in Pocket Camp, the bath theme follows this deer villager into nature. Her required Pocket Camp furniture series includes a Towel Basket, a Standing Sink, and even an elegant Claw-Foot Tub.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available for Nintendo Switch.
