Sony has confirmed that the popular PlayStation 30th Anniversary themes will be removed from PlayStation 5 consoles on Friday, January 31. Sony celebrated PlayStation's 30th Anniversary last year with special hardware and dynamic themes that served as throwbacks to its classic consoles. The themes have been available to PS5 gamers for months now, letting them give their console's dashboard special touches reminiscent of the PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4. The themes even included the return of the iconic PS1 start-up sequence.
