With Year Six of Rainbow Six Siege well under way, many players are diving into match after match in their eagerness to try out the new operator. Operation Crimson Heist introduced the tricky-to-deal-with Flores, a brand-new attacker whose explosive gadget is a literal and figurative blast to use in-game. For other attackers, though, a new season means that many of the previous year’s season-exclusive skins have been locked away once more. No attacker feels that pain harder than Buck.

Buck, having debuted way back in 2016’s Operation Black Ice, is a popular attacker with his primary gadget tied to his weapon itself: the underbarrel shotgun. While his unique weapons may not be as powerful as some of the mighty ones now available to his fellow operators, Buck mains take pride in the raw versatility of his arsenal. Buck’s character-exclusive C8-SFW lost a handful of Year Five’s weapon skins with the new season underway, but there are still plenty of fashionable options for attackers looking to spice up their buckshot-spraying primary.
10 Thermal Antipodes, 30000 Renown/720 Credits: Fire And Ice
Operation Crimson Heist started off hot with the Thermal Antipodes. A seasonal exclusive, the C8-SFW becomes a distributor of Icy Hot doom with this limited-time skin equipped. The best part? The Thermal Antipodes, as a seasonal weapon skin, is available on all current weapons, so a fashion-conscious player can make Buck’s arsenal match the equipment of their other operators. After all, sometimes even the most seasoned Buck main feels like trying out a harder-to-use operator, but nobody wants to sacrifice a good aesthetic. As the first and only season-exclusive weapon skin of Year Six so far, this is a great choice for collectors and newcomers (who may be having a tough time with this complex title) alike.
The Thermal Antipodes is also available in the Calefaction bundle (priced at 50000 Renown or 1200 Credits) until the end of the season, which also includes a matching attachment skin and a Precious Opal Charm.
9 Sturdy, 12500 Renown/300 Credits: Unleash Your Inner Lumberjack
For players who prefer skins a bit more unique to Buck, the Sturdy weapon skin is a strong choice. Part of a woodsman-themed collection for the Canadian operator, Sturdy bears all the markings of a man of the forest. The flannel pattern, the deep blue stock, the decorative stitching on the grip… this weapon is a perfect match for the Buck uniform it's bundled with.
The Sturdy skin can be purchased on its own for the budget-minded player. For those looking for a full kit, its available for a slight discount in the Buck Logger bundle (priced at 50000 Renown or 1200 Credits), which also includes matching Woodsman headgear and uniform and a Stumper charm.
8 Dwyer Hill, 12500 Renown/300 Credits: Wonderful Wooden Weaponry
This semi-wooden weapon is rich with Canadian pride. With almost every detail of this C8-SFW refashioned to resemble the work of a skilled woodcarver, the Dwyer Hill skin is a great choice for players who prefer some old-fashioned sensibilities in their weapons of war.

Dwyer Hill can be purchased on its own for those only interested in the C8-SFW. However, it can also be picked up as part of the Canadian Bundle (priced at 40000 Renown or 960 Credits) for those looking to reclad their entire Canadian arsenal. Not only do Buck’s alternate weapons get a matching reskin, but his fellow Canadian operator, Frost, gets some nice wooden goodies as well.
7 Wide Plains, 960 Credits: Proudly Patriotic
Wide Plains puts the Canadian pride of all other skins to shame, coating the weapon in a patriotic red, white, and blue. For those outside of Canada, this skin isn’t exclusive in its national devotion. As part of the Buck Esports set, Ubisoft encourages anybody to wear the colors with pride.
Unlike many other rifle skins, Wide Plains cannot be purchased on its own. It can only be acquired as part of the limited-time Buck Esports set (priced at 960 Credits). The set includes a similarly patriotic Elated Prodigy uniform and matching headgear for Buck, as well as an adorable charm of the operator himself.
6 Team oNe eSports 2020, 240 Credits: Gunning For The Gold
Maybe it’s the chance to root for a popular Rainbow Six Siege eSports team. Maybe it’s the discount that makes it a thrifty alternative to other in-game options. Or maybe it’s the sleek black-and-gold color scheme. Whatever the reason, the Team oNe C8-SFW skin is a glossy and stylish choice for the Buck main who wants to show that their mind is always on the game. There's a special dignity in looking like an attacker who has an eye on the latest competitive strategies.

The Team oNe eSports 2020 skin cannot be purchased as part of a bundle, but it can be picked up independently for the C8-SFW for 240 Credits.
5 Snowdrift Expert, 1800 Credits: Snowsport Shooting
Sometimes style is all about consistency. Buck's Elite skin, Snowdrift Expert, pairs a modern winter-leaf camouflage pattern across both the overhauled uniform and the C8-SFW.
Of course, any player using this skin certainly cares about a cohesive look. It can only be acquired through the purchase of Buck's Elite set (priced at 1800 Credits), a collection that contains a weapon skin for each item in Buck's arsenal, as well as a snowsports-inspired new uniform and a unique MVP animation.
4 USA Winter Camo, 10000 Renown/240 Credits: Snowy Camouflage For All
It's true that a dedicated player may shy away from using universal skins for their favorite operator. However, Winter Camo fits Buck like a glove. Any snow-inspired camouflage partners well with an operator from Operation Black Ice, and the budget-minded can appreciate a skin that can be used across multiple operators. For newer Siege players, too, a skin that can be widely used across a sparse collection is a great choice.
Winter Camo is not available as part of any bundle, but it can be purchased individually for 10000 Renown or 240 Credits.
3 Gridlock, 10000 Renown/240 Credits: A Modern Look On A Budget
For fans of more modernized looks across their operators, the Gridlock Assault Rifle Bundle offers a Eurasian Union Forces-themed weapon skin for the C8-SFW. This skin is a potential favorite for the thriftier player; as a rare skin, this is one of the few non-universal skins for the C8-SFW that won't empty a player's hard-earned savings.
Gridlock can be purchased individually, or it can be purchased as part of the Gridlock Assault Rifle Bundle (priced at 40000 Renown or 960 Credits), which includes a similar skin for many of Siege's other assault rifles.
2 Diamond, 100000 Renown: Breaking The Bank
Some players don't care about thrift. Some players don't care about camouflage. Some players just like to showcase exactly how fancy a weapon can look as it takes down its starstruck opponents. The Diamond skin is for those Buck players who want to demonstrate how much time they've dedicated to their favorite weapon.
Although Diamond cannot be purchased as part of a bundle (and purchasing the individual skin costs a pricey 100000 Renown), it does boast the universal tag, so it can be used on multiple weapons. Any weapons in the game, the best and worst alike, can be rendered impressive with some pricey flourishes.
1 Black Ice, Alpha Pack Exclusive: Staying Frosty
The iconic Black Ice has been around as long as Buck himself (debuting in the same operation), and it has garnered a reputation within the Rainbow Six community as one of the game's most stylish skins. It has it all for Buck: an icy aesthetic, a patriotic Canadian maple leaf, and an identical origin.
Unfortunately, this skin remains one of the hardest to acquire. It is usually impossible to purchase any Black Ice weapon skin, and harder still to acquire one specifically for the C8-SFW. This epic skin can only be found within the random contents of Alpha Packs. Unless a player is willing to pour their savings into Rainbow Six Siege, this is a skin that can only be acquired through patience (and a good deal of luck).
