Mass Effect developer BioWare reveals a limited-run hand painted Liara T'Soni statue that is available for pre-orders right now.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition released earlier this year to let fans return to the beloved trilogy and follow Commander Shephard's story once again. Of course, this also included fans running into all of their favorite Mass Effect characters like Garrus, Tali, and Wrex all over again.

One of the favorite companions for many players is Liara T'Soni. Liara is one of Mass Effect's most important characters. A young Asari archaeologist, she is present in all three games and is not only a romance option and squad member, but is also integral to the plot throughout the series.

Now, the biggest Liara fans have a limited opportunity to get their hands on a new statue that is available now in the BioWare store. The statue is priced at $95, which is pretty modest for a limited quantity collectible with as much detail as this one. There are also two versions that fans can buy, one fully colored, as well as a fully gray prototype one. The statues are limited to 2,000 units worldwide, so fans will likely have to act fast to get their hands on one before they sell out. Earlier this year, Mass Effect's Garrus received a similar statue treatment that sold out incredibly quickly.

Each one of the statues is numbered and shows Liara wielding a pistol while powering up a biotic attack in the other hand. Each statue sits at a pretty heft 8" tall and is completely hand painted. Since the statue is only available for pre-order, any fans looking to pick it up can only get one and can only have the statue in their shopping cart when they check out. The statue is aiming to be shipped to fans sometime this November. Of course, any fans who are unable to get their hands on one may not be out of luck. BioWare's previous statue of Mass Effect's iconic Normandy ship was recently re-stocked, and it is possible the Liara statue will receive similar treatment if there is interest.

The Liara statue seems like a good deal for any big time fans of the Asari. The price is surprisingly low for a hand painted collectible of that size, and any fan who manages to get their hands on one is definitely lucky. Since the statues will undoubtedly sell out quickly, hopefully BioWare is planning on doing a second run of them in the future. Until then, fans will just have to continue eagerly awaiting any news on Mass Effect 4.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
