Banshee-44 is currently selling a coveted PvE support god roll for the Legendary special ammo Grenade Launcher, Truthteller. The weapon will only be available to buy until the next weekly reset on June 29, so Destiny 2 players should buy it as soon as possible.

The Void energy, special ammo Grenade Launcher was available with the launch of Destiny 2 as a Dead Orbit Faction weapon. It was reintroduced in Season of Arrivals last year and has been highly sought after for its strong perk options, which make it great as a support weapon in Nightfall Strikes and other PvE activities.

The Truthteller roll that Banshee is currently selling includes Blinding Grenades, Auto-Loading Holster, and Disruption Break, making it a great weapon that players can quickly switch to and fire to provide some help in the heat of battle. Blinding Grenades will briefly stun enemies, making them unable to use abilities or move at a normal speed, and Auto-Loading Holster takes reloading out of the equation. Lastly, breaking an enemy’s shield with this Truthteller roll will also increase the damage of a player’s kinetic weapon, meaning it will pair well with hard-hitting, PvE primary weapons such as the Fatebringer Hand Cannon.

The high Handling stat of Truthteller also means it excels as a quick-use, PvE support weapon, but equipping the Quick Launch perk will increase the Handling and grenade Velocity even more. Banshee also happens to be selling the Quick Access Sling Weapon Mod for 10 Mod Components, which allows players to switch weapons even faster after emptying the weapon’s magazine and works very well on this particular roll. Players have until the next weekly reset on June 29 to pick up this Truthteller roll for 30 Legendary Shards and 1,000 Glimmer.

With Season of the Splicer, Banshee received a considerable shake-up to his vendor offerings too. He no longer sells Armor Mods but now offers a selection of Legendary weapons that rotates weekly. Ada-1 now sells Armor Mods and guides Guardians through the confusing Armor Synthesis customization system. Destiny 2 players should know that a bug causes some of Banshee’s weapons to roll without a Masterwork slot.

It is rare that Banshee offers any great perk rolls on his weapons, but players should always regularly check in to see what he is selling. Hopefully, Bungie will be regularly updating the weapon pool with each season so that players always have a reliable source of interesting weapons and perks to easily acquire.
