Avowed pits players against strong boss encounters early on, especially during the bounty missions. One of the bounties requires players to find and eliminate Octav the Fireband boss, and his band of dwarven warriors. It's one of the toughest bounties that you'll encounter early on in the game. However, taking down Octav is recommended as you'll get a unique dagger called "Sheathed in Summer" that inflicts the burn status effect on enemies.
