Game development is a constantly evolving process, with ideas and concepts being tested, refined, and sometimes entirely abandoned along the way. What starts out as an ambitious vision often gets proven by the fire of technical limitations, design challenges, and time constraints. Developers may create entire levels, characters, or gameplay mechanics only to realize that they don't fit within the final experience in the end. While these cuts can be disappointing to both developers and fans, they are often necessary to ensure a game is exactly what it needs to be at launch. One such game to be hit somewhat hard by cuts is Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Insomniac Games' latest entry in its popular superhero universe.
