As a fan of the WB/CW drama Smallville, I was eager to check out Wednesday, the Netflix series focused on a young Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) leaving the Addams Family mansion behind and becoming a student Nevermore Academy. The Smallville showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar are also the creators and showrunners on Wednesday, and there are some fascinating similarities between the two popular shows.
