Stephen King is one of the most famous authors of all time with a slew of iconic books under his name, and most of them belong to the horror genre. King's popularity has become even greater over time, as seen in many directors wanting to adapt his novels to the big and small screen. This year King fans are in for a treat as a series of confirmed adaptations are in development, including Max’s IT: Welcome to Derry starring Bill Skarsgård, Mike Flanagan’s The Dark Tower series and film combination, and Prime Video’s Carrie series. Some are even releasing this year, like The Monkey and It: Welcome to Derry.
