The roguelike formula could be a fun way to spice up these Nintendo franchises in the form of a special spinoff.

Nintendo has a lot of franchises under its belt, and two of them have already become roguelikes. The first one was Pokemon via Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team. There were many sequels after, but then the Zelda franchise got a chance via Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda.
