The Straw Hats are arguably the most iconic hero group in the entire anime industry. At this point in the One Piece story, if anything were to happen to even one of them, the crew just wouldn't be the same since every member fits a specific role on the ship, without which the entirety of the pirate crew can't function the same way. Although some roles are naturally more important than others, each is integral to keeping the crew going.
