Biomutant is possibly the most intriguing action-role-playing game of 2021. Its detailed and intricate world can be freely explored and hides a lot of Easter eggs and mysteries. This, and the well-thought-out storyline and meaning quickly made Biomutant a fan favorite.

One of the most fun things in the gameplay is finding and taming mounts along the way. These mutated creatures are super fun, weird, or awesome looking, and hunting them down is like unlocking Pokemon characters. While there are many basic mounts in the main storyline, the coolest ones available need to be hunted down.
10 Bubu Gnoat (Abo Gnoat)
The most common and easiest tames in the game are the "Gnoats". These creatures roam everywhere, and the only difference between them is their looks. The Bubu Gnoat, also known as the Abo Gnoat, is a reindeer-like blue Gnoat.
It can be purchased from Livingthing Brokers or tamed after hunting down its location. On the Norwest part of the map is an area called the Fnackyleaves Biome, which is home to the Molyhole Outpost. Here, by the river's edge is a wooden fence and a bush that holds the Pips necessary for taming the mount. The Gnoat will be roaming nearby, and feeding it the Pips will tame it.
9 Miff Gnoat
Another basic Gnoat, the Miff Gnoat can also be purchased from the Livingthing Brokers, or it can be tamed using Pips. Southwest of Snodesburg is a small island. On this island are bushes that hold the Pips, as well as the Miff Gnoat across the river, which can be tamed by feeding it the obtained Pips.
8 Pumb Gnoat (Bula Gnoat)
People have a harder time finding the final Gnoat in the game, which is the Pumb Gnoat (otherwise known as the Bula Gnoat). Taming it is just as easy as the rest of them - find the Pips in the bushes and feed them to the Gnoat.
To get to this mount, players have to go north of Sludge Deoderizum near the very top of the map, next to Bangshelter 11. There, players will find the Pumb Gnoat, and can tame it using Pips.
7 Mekafingro
This mount is actually part of the main quest. In the Whiz side quest of the Mekafingro mission, players will find themselves in Mekastadium. Following the path through the area, players will see an electrical box with a rotation puzzle hidden inside. Solving the puzzle will grant them the Mekafingro mount.
6 Mekamjut + Mjut
This 'two for the price of one' bundle contains the Mjut, and the Mekamjut mounts both linked to the same side character. During the story, players will meet up with Noko, and they'll be asked to help bring back her escaped Mjut. Completing it will unlock three more side quests.

One of these newly unlocked quests, "Sit-Tight" will lead to the Mekamjut. Players need to go to the Smilo Shopperia, find the mount, and solve a rotation puzzle to earn it. As for the Mjut, players can get their very own when returning to Noko and completing the "Mjut Special" mission.
5 Surfipelago
The Surfipelago is widely known as the "Sleep Paralysis Monster", and while it is a joke about its horrifying and haunting looks, those who get easily scared should steer clear of this one. But otherwise, if players won't end up scaring themselves, this awesome-looking mount can be easily tamed.
Just east of Bricktown, across the river, north toward the shore, players will find this demon. As per usual, they need to find the Pips in the bushes, feed them to this gentle monster, and enjoy having a lifelong friend in the form of a
4 Snickels
While one of the easiest to obtain on this list, the Snickels is still a fan-favorite because of its looks. Snickels is like the slimmed-down, dressed-up version of the demonic Surfipelago. It has the same beaming eyes that stare into the player's soul, but instead of having no other characteristics at all, it also has a fur boa, pointy ears, and a cute tail. It's the best of both worlds, intimidating, yet cute.
Snickels can be purchased from the Ankati Forest. First, players must capture the three Ankati Tribe outposts to gain access to the shops, and only after that can the player purchase this beauty for 1.069 Green.
3 Putignoat
While on its own, the Putignoat is not at all more interesting than its brethren. It doesn't have any more abilities, as stated before, all Gnoats are alike, except for their looks. What makes this find more special than the rest, is the way players tame it.

At the very beginning of the game, in the "Meat Eater" quest, players can find this Gnoat, and saving it means getting into a very premature fight with Lupa Lupin, the game's main antagonist. This will unlock a lot of information about what the game is about, and it cleverly sets the tone for future quests. To set all this in motion, players must find the Gnoat northwest of the Murkadorpus Outpost.
2 Pee-Wee Gargantua
Perhaps the most sought-after mount in the entire game, the Pee-Wee Gargantua is an important milestone in any player's gameplay. This water-based mount is earned by completing the Gill sidequest. Players can start the quest by talking to Gill in Burblebottom.
The quest will lead players to the Manufactorium on a small island where players have to defeat Brug, and only after, they can free the Gargantua by untying the ropes. Finally, interacting with it will tame it, and players can enjoy having a beautiful water mount.
1 Batnam-Nam
Batnam-Nam is up there with the Pee-Wee Gargantua as one of the most elaborate creatures in the game, and one of the most important mounts that can be tamed. This creature can be unlocked by completing Pebble's side quest. The quest can be started by talking to Pebble, who will ask players to find three climbing/zipline points around the map (these points will be highlighted by the map).
After testing the three points and heading back to Pebble, players can climb up the yellow wall behind the side character. A path will then lead them to the Batnam-Nam's nest. Reaching this point will unlock perhaps the most epic tamable creature in the game.
