Then, audiences celebrated the news that Neve Campbell would play Sidney Prescott again. But the smart final girl isn't the only legacy character who is coming back. Although Patrick Dempsey isn't reprising his role of Detective Mark Kincaid, audiences want to know how dead characters like Stu Macher (Matthew Lillard) can return. Scream 7 will have an extra dose of nostalgia thanks to these beloved cast members. However, it's impossible not to hope there will be a clear explanation of how these actors can play these characters again.
