The LEGO Group would be remiss not to capitalize on the big gaming moment that one family-friendly franchise is currently enjoying.

The LEGO Group has had a major presence in the video game landscape for more than three decades. Even though the company doesn't outright own any game developers, it has licensed the LEGO IP out to dozens of studios over the years. The 150+ LEGO video games that have been released so far span a wide variety of genres, from 3D platformers and action-adventure titles to fast-paced cart racers and even 3D puzzle games. Not every game based on the iconic toy has been a hit, of course, but many of them have played a big role in the childhoods of countless gamers around the world.
