Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat director gives an exciting upside on his next horror movie adaptation and promises it'll be "very scary".

As horror fans will know, a new The House of the Deadmovie adaptation is on the horizon, with Resident Evil's Paul W.S. Anderson set to steer the ship. This isn't Anderson's first video game-making endeavor, as previously, the director wrote and directed Mortal Kombat (1995), Monster Hunter, and six other Resident Evil movies, as well as non-gaming films like the classic 1997 film starring Sam Neill, Event Horizon and the 2004 film Alien vs. Predator.
