Federico 'FedMyster' Gaytan has returned to streaming on Twitch after a year-long hiatus following allegations of sexual misconduct from many close to the streamer. The return has been tumultuous, with many suggesting that Gaytan has only made the situation worse for himself and his victims by returning to Twitch. One of those affected by Gaytan's actions, Imane 'Pokimane' Anys, spoke out about her personal feelings regarding his return, and laid out her plans for dealing with the situation going forward.
The accusations against FedMyster were numerous, with many female members of the Offline TV group citing some form of sexual misconduct or harassment during his tenure in the streamer house. Most notably, Yvonne "Yvonnie" Ng and Lily "LilyPichu" Ki offered up statements to that effect, with Ng pointing to two separate occasions where Gaytan entered her room without permission and inappropriately touched her. Ki suggested that similar things had happened to her, accusing FedMyster of taking advantage of her emotional state after a bad breakup in order to make sexual advancements upon her.

Pokimane, who has previously cited FedMyster's actions as the main reason for her leaving the Offline TV house, has come forward to comment on FedMyster's return to Twitch. In a clip of her most recent Twitch stream, Pokimane suggests that since people are going to ask her about "a certain someone," she just wants to say her piece and "get it out of the way." She continues by saying that while she can't judge whether or not a person has changed, as their words and actions will "speak for themselves," she simply cannot be friends with someone who sexually assaulted people she cares about "and handled it the way that he did."
Pokimane comments on the controversy further, stating that she won't be affiliating with FedMyster or his "circle," and that the other Offline TV members are going to move on with their lives and Graytan will likely move on with his. Pokimane notes at the end of the clip that she "doesn't want to talk about it," which is unsurprising given the circumstances. Pokimane has gone on record as saying that Graytan deliberately manipulated other members of the Offline TV house into disliking her, by creating narratives about her behind her back to make her appear to be in the wrong when she and Graytan had disputes. Pokimane also suggested that Graytan would lie to potential partners of hers, stating that he was her boyfriend in order to scare them off and sabotage her relationships.
While FedMyster has technically owned up to his wrongdoings, corroborating the allegations made by the Offline TV house members in his own statements on the matter, many have noted how little remorse he appears to have when actively confronted about the issues. Despite being contrite during interventions held by house members during his time there, his reappearance on Twitch has already seen clips of him being dismissive regarding the issue, making light of the situation and cracking jokes. It's unlikely that Twitch will be able to step in to handle the situation, given the company's response to LilyPichu's stalker troubles recently. Pokimane seems to have handled the situation with maturity, making a fairly reasoned response to FedMyster's return, it's unlikely that anyone would blame her if she were to be angered, especially considering the severity of the allegations leveled against Graytan, and his apparent lack of contrition.
