The Assassin's Creed franchise has been spreading and developing within different eras. What’s right and necessary has shifted between different assassin brotherhoods to accomplish their overall goal for society’s peace. The creed was even lost and distorted at certain times for the protagonists to recover it. Not every assassin was born within the creed, but they grew for it.
