At Minecraft Live 2025, Mojang introduced fans to two “new flying mobs” that will appear in Minecaft: Ghastlings and Happy Ghasts. The reveal of these mobs demonstrated not only how fans can get one for themselves, but also showed what these new Minecraft mobs bring to the table. The Ghast variant, in particular, was a highlight of the show, and it is in line with Mojang’s recent updates, which have been rather focused on mobs and the Overworld.
