Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart offers an easy Platinum Trophy, but some of its trophies are hidden and require a bit of legwork.

Insomniac returns with Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart just seven months after releasing Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. The two titles may differ in a lot of ways, but they both feature slick gameplay and relatively easy Platinum Trophies.

Amongst the 47 Trophies in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, some are hidden. 11 of them organically unlock as story progression is made, but there are 4 that require a little more work to unlock and can be missed.

There are 11 hidden Trophies that are story-related and will unlock by playing and completing Rift Apart. The 10 Bronze, and 1 Gold hidden story Trophies are:

  • Rift Apart
  • Hide 'N Seekerpede
  • This Crystal Is My Things
  • Don't You Walk Away From Me
  • It's Loose!
  • Emotional Support Robot
  • Rated Aaarrr!
  • Return to Sender
  • No Bones About It
  • I'm the Warden Now
  • 2 Fuzz 2 Nefarious (Gold Trophy)

There are 4 relatively easy secret hidden Trophies in Rift Apart that can be missed, but quickly picked up by loading up a save after the game has been completed. All of the missable hidden trophies are Bronze.

The pocket dimensions are small portals that transport Ratchet or Rivet to an optional area that shows off the incredible next-gen power of the PS5 and has a piece of armor waiting for the Lombaxes at the end of each challenge.

All players need to do is press L1 when near one of these purple-colored rifts, walk through, and the More Than Lint Trophy will unlock.

This can be unlocked after Rivet takes Clank to her hideout on Sargasso and defeats the Seekerpede boss. Return to the hideout and interact with Rivet’s TV to unlock the easy Lombax and Chill Trophy.

Zurkie’s is the bar and battle arena located at Scarstu Debris Field. Players might have missed the Jukebox, as it is located next to the dancefloor that sees Rivet pull some sick dance moves.

Simply interact with the Jukebox and choose three different songs. The Hey Lombax DJ Trophy will then pop.

Most of the Glitch minigames are linked to the story of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, but there are two missable interactions.

The first missable Glitch challenge is on the pirate planet of Ardolis. During the story, Ratchet will complete the Pirate Trials. After reaching the Grunthor skeleton, turn left before exiting the room and interact with the console covered with a purple substance. It’s important to only interact with this console once, as re-doing the minigame will cause a bug later on that makes the last Gold Bolt of Rift Apart unobtainable.

The next missable Glitch challenge is on Ratchet’s second trip to Savali. Players who obtained the Map-o-Matic on Ardolis might have been wondering why they couldn’t get the last Gold Bolt on Savali. This is because its location is linked to the story, so don’t worry about completing this challenge until the plot forces players to go back to Savali.

Follow the story beats to the north-western corner of the map, and after the underground opens up, jump down and turn around to interact with the last console. Complete Glitch’s minigame to unlock the Glitch, uh, Finds a Way Trophy.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is available now exclusively for PlayStation 5.
