A new Legendary quest in Fortnite sends fans to search the farm for clues, but some players may be confused about where to look.

Fortnite's Season 7 Week 4 Legendary quests have arrived, and one of them instructs players to search the farm for clues. In total, fans must find two clues in order to complete this challenge, though some players may be unclear on exactly where they should look. Clarifying this matter is the purpose of this guide, and players that read on should have no trouble tackling Fortnite's "search the farm for clues" quest.

To start, the farm being referenced by this quest's description is Steel Farm, a Landmark that is situated just northeast of Corny Complex. This location is home to Hayseed, an NPC in Fortnite Season 7, and it is the site for one of the seasonal daily challenges, which means that many players will have visited it before. However, the clues needed for the Legendary quest are new additions, and their positions can be seen highlighted on the map below.

  1. Next to a red tractor.
  2. Next to a pine tree.
  3. By a few large boulders.
  4. By some logs.

Upon arriving at the locations indicated on the map, fans will find small magnifying glasses, and indeed these are the clues that are needed for the challenge. After interacting with two of them, players will receive indication that they have completed the Legendary quest and earned their reward. Specifically, that reward is 45,000 XP, which is sure to be appreciated by those players that are looking to level up and earn Battle Stars in Fortnite Season 7.

With this challenge finished, fans may want to head over to Weeping Woods or Misty Meadows to work on yet another of this week's new Legendary quests. Indeed, there is a task that centers around placing missing person signs at Weeping Woods and Misty Meadows, and it awards 30,000 XP upon completion. Alternatively, players can maker their way to Durrrr Burger, Pizza Pits, or Sticks, as those locations also play a role in a brand new challenge.

It is also worth mentioning that Fortnite's Week 4 Alien Artifacts are now available, and there are two in fairly close proximity to Steel Farm. One of them can be found near Building 4 at Steamy Stacks, and the other is by a blue warehouse at the northeast corner of Dirty Docks. While it is certainly not requisite that players pickup these Artifacts after completing the "search the farm for clues" challenge, it may be a good opportunity to do so.

Fortnite is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
